Akasison XL system

Akasison XL is ideal for siphonic roof drainage in buildings with the largest or most complicated roofs.

Akasison XL includes a pipe system made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). This material combines flexibility during installation with robustness and reliability up to the biggest diameters. It offers a fully homogenous welded pipe system with butt-weld and electrofusion joints. The HDPE pipe system can easily be prefabricated to composite pipe lengths that can be joined directly under the roof using electrofusion couplers.

These properties make the Akasison XL system extremely break resistant in low temperatures and resistant to shocks or bending. The ingenious Akasison XL fixing system allows the pipe system to be fixed rigidly to the roof and the building. The strength of this installation absorbs all expansion by using a guide rail, rail brackets and anchor points. The fixing system is the ideal support for the robustness that HDPE offers.

The fixing system also ensures that Akasison XL roof outlets are secured in place without any strain. The strain free connection of the roof outlets and their reliable connection to the roofing membrane will ensure that the Akasison roof outlets will drain rainwater without leakage their entire roof lifespan. Akasison XL roof outlets are available in several version and can be applied in any kind of roof. The roof outlet design combines the most reliable connections with ease of installation. Specially developed for Akasison and tested in our own test tower.

Roof outlet XL75 PVC

The XL75 roof outlets for PVC roofing membranes are made from high-quality plastics that are UV and corrosion resistant. The connection to the roof is made using a large PVC roof outlet to which nearly all PVC roofing membranes can be directly connected. The connection with the HDPE pipe system is made using a 360 mm long PE connector. The long connector enables an electrofusion connection to the pipe system underneath the roof regardless of the thickness of the insulation. Akasison roof outlets are TÜV certified, which means that our high product quality is independently guaranteed for you.

Akasison XL fixing system

The Akasison XL fixing system is a unique design with few components. This allows a quick and secure installation. The system uses a rail to absorb the expansion forces of the pipe system and to secure it to the permanent building structure. The pipe system is installed in quick mounted rail brackets that secure the pipe in place with a unique 215° hook section. This enables further installation of the pipe while having both hands free. Every component has been thought-over to give the best possible ease-of-use.

HDPE expansion socket with integrated anchor point

Large quantities of rainwater flowing at high speed pass through an Akasison down pipe. The best connection between vertical down pipes and the building is a combination of fixed points and expansion sockets that absorb any thermal expansion. Akasison HDPE expansion sockets from diameter 75 to 200 mm are fitted with an integrated anchor point, saving valuable installation time.

Unique injection moulded HDPE fittings in large sizes

Unique to the Akasison system are its injection moulded fittings in the largest dimensions 200, 250 and 315 mm. Our injection moulded HDPE 45° elbows is available in all sizes. The injection moulded 45° T-branches are available in all sizes used by Akasison XL, including all common connection pieces for roof outlet connection pipes. Injection moulded fittings represent an industrialised and constant high quality standard. Akasison XL is the only system in the world that offers this. Strong and reliable.

Akasison L system

Akasison L is ideal for siphonic roof drainage in small to medium-sized buildings in which the pipe system can move freely.

Akasison L consists of pipe diameters of up to 200 mm and is made from HPTP (High Performance Thermoplastic). HPTP is a modified PVC-U material developed for Akasison: it is reinforced to withstand negative pressure, has an extremely high rigidity and a low expansion coefficient. HPTP joints are glued, the most commonly used connection technology in which electrical tools are not required. The combination of it high rigidity and glued connections offer speed and ease of installation.

Due to its high rigidity and low expansion coefficient, the Akasison L system can be installed freely moving. The expansion of the pipe system are absorbed by the flexible roof outlet connections or horizontally mounted expansion sockets. The Akasison L fixing system includes guide brackets that are mounted directly to the roof. The fixing system is quick and easy to install, just like the HPTP pipe system.

Roof outlet L75 Bitumen

The L75 roof outlets for bitumen roofing membranes are made from high-quality plastics that are UV and corrosion resistant. The connection to the roof is made using a large plastic roof outlet to which bitumen is factory applied. This makes it possible to connect nearly all bitumen roofing membranes directly to the roof outlet. The connection to the HPTP pipe system is made using a 360 mm long HPTP connector. The long connector enables a glued connection to the pipe system underneath the roof regardless of the thickness of the insulation. Akasison roof outlets are TÜV certified, which means that our high product quality is independently guaranteed for you.

Akasison L fixing system

The Akasison L fixing system is a unique design with few components. This allows a quick and secure installation. The pipe system is suspended in the rail brackets with integrated M10 screw thread for connection to the roof. The HPTP piping is suspended in the bracket using a unique 215° hook section. This enables further installation of the pipe while having both hands free. Every component has been thought-over to give the best possible ease-of-use.

Flexible roof outlet connection

Flexible roof outlet connection absorb the expansion from the free moving pipe system and prevent that any force is transferred to the roof outlets. The roof outlet connections are flexible while still having a high degree of rigidity for use in roof drainage systems with negative pressure. The connections to the roof outlet and the pipe system can be glued without any mechanical couplings. The flexible connectors are available in all common diameters and can be made to size on site.

Transparent inspection T-branch

Its high speed and siphonic pipelines ensure that the Akasison L system is self-cleaning. Inspection T-branches are installed at the bottom of the down pipes where the transition from the siphonic to the underground sewer system takes place. Akasison L inspection T-branches are made from transparent HPTP to make a visual inspection possible very clear. It is easy to observe what the inside of the pipe system, the screw cap can be removed for further inspection or cleaning if necessary.
